⚽💚💛 Our Stage 3 boys did an awesome job representing St Patrick’s Guildford at the Soccer Gala Day at Jamison Park, Penrith. From the first whistle to the final game, the boys gave it their all 💪 showing determination, teamwork 🤝 and awesome sportsmanship 👏 as they competed against schools from across the Diocese ⚽🏃‍♂️ 🙏 A huge shoutout to Mrs Azzi, Miss Hartsuyker and Mrs Chalhoub for coaching and cheering the boys on throughout the day. It was also fantastic to see some parents and friends come and support the boys for their games. Our Year 6 students recently attended an exciting Year 6 Captivate Talk to prepare for their upcoming Voice of Youth competition. They took part in fun and engaging activities designed to boost their confidence and help them project their voices clearly 🎤 One of the topics they explored was the idea of longer lunch times this idea sparked great discussions and practice for speaking up with confidence. Last week, our Kindy kids had a blast making Maths Monsters while learning to read and represent numbers! 💡 🎲 First, they rolled a die to see how many eyes their monster would have. 👁️ Then they arranged the eyes in dot patterns to practise subitising — knowing how many without counting! 🧠✨ 🎲 A second roll told them how many arms to add! 💪🎨 Their monsters turned out so colourful, creative and unique — just like our learners! 🌈👏 #KindyMaths #MathsMonsters #LookThinkKnow #LearningIsFun #creativekindykids

🙏 ✝️ Feast of the Holy Trinity ✝️ 🙏 Today we celebrate the sacred mystery of One God in Three Persons – Father 🕊️, Son ✝️, and Holy Spirit 🔥. The Holy Trinity reminds us that God is a communion of love 💞, and we are invited to live in that same love with one another. 💖 The Trinity expresses the Christian faith that the very essence of Divine life is a love that reaches out in the desire to be in relationship 🤝. The Spirit 🕊️ is turned toward Jesus, the Son ✝️; all the Spirit expresses comes from the Risen Christ ✨, just as all the Father 👑 has is given over to the Son 🙏. 💫 Our own relationships and our deep desire to love and be loved reflect the dynamic, self-giving nature of God. At St Patrick’s Primary School Guildford, our wonderful staff and students came together to support those in need through our Outreach initiative. Together, we prepared 45 snack packs and 100 sandwiches for St Vincent de Paul’s Vinnies Van. Our amazing students dedicated their time to making the snack packs, while our staff generously brought in donations and lovingly made the sandwiches. This teamwork truly shows the power of community and kindness. “As you did to the least of these, you did to me” (Matthew 25:40). A reminder of the love and care we are called to share. Thank you to everyone for your generosity, your spirit, and your strong sense of community. 🌞🪐 Exploring the Solar System in Year 4!🚀🌍 Our amazing Year 4 students have been on an out-of-this-world adventure learning all about the solar system! 🌌 This week, they turned their focus to the Sun; the centre of our solar system and the star that lights up our days! 🔭☀️ Students have been busy researching fun facts, creating colourful posters, and presenting their work to the class. Did you know the Sun is over 100 times wider than Earth? Or that it’s made up of burning hot gases? 🌋🔥 We are so proud of how confidently they shared their learning and taught each other about this powerful star 🌟👏 Stay tuned for more cosmic discoveries as we journey through space together! 🛰️🌠
